Computex 2017: MSI launches new monster laptops with PC hardware


The Computex is a technology tradeshow responsible for launching several innovations in the computer world, and the same goes for products aimed at the gamer audience. MSI is one of the manufacturers taking advantage of the event to launch five powerful new gaming laptops, with specs capable of running the latest titles without sacrificing portability.

All come with the new Infinite series motherboard, which includes Core i5 and Core i7 processors and vertically installed graphics chip. The idea of ​​the new construction is to deliver better energy efficiency and resistance during transportation.

The MSI GT75VR Titan is a laptop that delivers PC-level performance. It comes with Intel Core i7-7820HK processor with overclocking support up to 4 GHz, and with option of up to three different graphics cards to choose from. It is possible to buy the model with GeForce GTX1080, GTX 1070 SLI, and GTX 1070. The notebook still features SteelSeries mechanical keyboard with customizable lighting and display with HDR support.

The MSI GS63VR is considered the world’s thinnest gamer notebook with GeForce GTX 1070 GPU on the hardware. The machine measures only 17.7 mm thick and weighs 1.9 kg. To cool it all it features Cooler Boost Trinity along with Whirlwind Blade fans for better heat dissipation. The GS73VR is basically the same, but with the difference in the display, ranging from 3 ms to 5 ms response time.

The MSI GE63 and 73 VR Raider laptops are sports car-inspired design and come in sizes 15 and 17 inches. They are powered by GTX 1070 GPUs for better graphics performance and come with HDR screens and a response time of 3ms (120GHz). Other features include customizable RGB keyboard, Cooler Boost 5, and Dynaudio speakers for high definition audio.
